Are you looking for a new exciting opportunity working as an Onsite Support Engineer for a successful Managed Service Provider to be based in London?
This role will involve a rotation between working Onsite in the West End and on the Service Desk (1 in 4 weeks) which can be done remotely.
Main Duties of the Role
- Responsible for troubleshooting, fault finding, fixing, and providing customer advice on systems
- Managing assigned tickets using the ticket management system
- Providing support within agreed SLAs to ensure response and fix times are met
- Remote desktop/server support with windows environments
- Investigation of server and platform monitoring alerts
- Server and desktop patching via centrally managed systems
- Keeping customer documentation up to date
- Involvement in technical projects for technology deployments/upgrades
Your Skills and Experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong networking knowledge with proficiency in troubleshooting networking protocols
- Solid experience of server support and virtual environments (VMware)
- Microsoft Exchange Server and Office 365.
- Knowledge of backup solutions
- Understanding of ITIL practices
Salary
- £35,000-£40,000 per annum
- + Overtime & on call
