Support Analyst (Data Products)
6 Months
Hybrid - 1-2 days per week in London

The Data Products L2 Support Analyst will provide support, administration and troubleshooting, as well as some perfective maintenance, on an enterprise data platform and accompanying analytics tooling for my client's customer.

***The ideal candidate will have experience supporting data applications or platforms at an L2 Level***

Level 2 Production support of an enterprise data platform environment in a large organization, including:
o Management, administration, and maintenance with data streaming tools such as Kafka/Confluent Kafka, Flink
o Experienced with software support for applications written in Python & SQL
o Administration, configuration and maintenance of Snowflake & DBT
o Experience with data product environments that use tools such as Kafka Connect, Synk, Confluent Schema Registry, Atlan, IBM MQ, Sonarcube, Apache Airflow, Apache Iceberg, Dynamo DB, Terraform and GitHub
o Debugging issues, root cause analysis, and applying fixes
o Management and maintenance of ETL processes (bug fixing and batch job monitoring)
o Providing 'hands on' technical support and escalation through Incident, Change & Problem Management procedures to ensure that SLAs are achieved
o Implementation, design and management of releases and deployments
o Proactively seeking ways to improve day-to-day delivery
o Working under pressure with challenging deadlines
* Extensive experience applying data warehousing concepts (e.g. ETL/ELT, dimensional data modelling, slowly changing dimensions, data marts) on on-premises and cloud based BI solutions in a commercial environment
* Proven ability to clearly communicate complex solutions to non-technical audiences in support of technical solutions to business problems
* Robust hands-on experience with industry standard tooling and techniques, including SQL, Git and CI/CD pipelines
* Training & Certification (desired, not mandatory):
o Snowflake Fundamentals/Advanced Training
o Apache Kafka Administration
