We are now recruiting for a Technical Support Specialist on a permanent basis to work for a global organisation, although the role is fully remote based, there will however be a 1-day induction which will be in their Farringdon based office and possibly the requirement to go into that office for a catchup once a month.
The focus of this role will be to provide technical customer support to customers and resolving issues in a timely manner, managing end-user inquiries over the phone/email as well as moderating user-generated content to facilitate a good digital community.
Ideally to be considered for this position you'll need great communication skills and must have proven experience of working with end users/customers to provide some form of technical customer support.
This is very much a full time and permanent position and will be paying a starting salary of up to £33k + a bonus of 7.5% of salary.
You'll be working Monday to Friday and a standard 35-hour week rota will be put in place and can be flexibly based around core office hours.
All equipment for this role will be provided but you must have a suitable working space and solid wifi connection.
Please note before applying that to be considered you must have some form of solid technical customer support experience and must be able to get to the offices in Farringdon at least once a month or we will be unable to consider you for this position.
Duties
- Technical Customer queries answered in a timely manner via phone/email.
- Implement the online moderation guideline, working alongside stakeholders across the Company to guarantee its effectiveness.
- Review and moderate all user-generated content and profiles, encompassing forums, comments, images, videos, and audio, coordinating with relevant team when needed.
- Oversee the banned user process, track, and remove previously banned users.
- Maintain and update Moderation Guidelines.
- Produce reports on moderation statistics, issues, and outcomes.
- Consistently provide feedback and insights from community moderation.
- Stay updated on industry and company information, anticipating potential issues.
Knowledge and Skills Requirements
- Strong technical customer service experience is an absolute essential requirement for this position
- Please make it clear if you speak any other languages other than English as this is something that would be of interest
- Excellent communication skills
- Team player willing to get involved in resolving issues
- The ability to be able to work from home as well as get into London once a month
- Must hold the full-time right to work in the UK
