Trade Operations Support Engineer (Python Automation) London onsite to £135k+

Do you have experience of supporting trading systems combined with strong Python coding skills?

You could be progressing your career at a hugely successful algorithmic trading firm.

As a Trade Operations Support Engineer you will be responsible for supporting daily reconciliations of cash, positions and trading activity; managing cash / collateral across multiple brokers and clearing houses and production of various reports including PnL, Risk and Treasury.

You'll collaborate closely with the technology team to develop new tools and applications, build and maintain automated processes and will also be responsible for onboarding new exchanges, counterparties, brokers or products.

Location / WFH:

You'll be based in the London office which offers a wide range of facilities and perks including onsite gym, sauna and fitness classes, onsite doctor and restaurant; there is also some flexibility to work from home one day a week.

About you:

  • You are degree educated (minimum 2.1 at BSc) in Computer Science, Mathematics or Engineering
  • You have relevant industry experience with a strong knowledge of at least one asset class from a trading operations perspective
  • You have strong Python (or Golang) coding skills and SQL
  • You have advanced analytical and problem solving skills, you like to be challenged and get to the root cause
  • You have excellent communication and cross team collaboration skills
