Work Pattern: Hybrid (2 days per week in the office)

Summary

A brand new role has opened up for a Machine Learning Engineer to join a financial services in central London, close to major transport links.

The role has opened up as the company are scaling up their Machine Learning function and require a Machine Learning Engineer with expertise in developing and deploying ML pipelines. You will be responsible for scaling out the companies use of cutting edge technology to optimize business processes. It's a really exciting project so a great time to get involved!

You'll be working alongside the wider IT team to contribute to the requirement definition, solution and architectural designs. We're looking for someone who wants to work collaboratively within the team to capture these business requirements, but is still ready to take responsibility delivering your personal objectives.

The Role

You will play an integral role in development and deployment of Machine Learning pipelines. You will be designing and developing Gen AI application tech stack, developing and maintaining existing pipelines, data transformation pipelines and maintaining ML Ops.

Communication and personal responsibility for your own work will be key in making this role a successful. We're looking for someone who is ready to work alongside their colleagues to address daily issues whilst able to take ownership of their own objectives.

The role is being offered as a fixed term rolling contract. It's a hybrid role with 2 days per week in their London office.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver LLM and Gen AI automations that support company aims
  • Maintain current ML pipelines
  • Provide quality assurance on ML code
  • API based development to integrate ML models with company applications
  • Deliver on SLAs
  • Test driven development, clean code and documentation
  • Build data transformation and pipelines
  • Explain different machine learning methods to the wider technical and non-technical teams.
