As a Senior Machine Learning Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in accelerating our client's technological capabilities. You will be responsible for designing and implementing custom machine learning models, working alongside a talented team of engineers to push the boundaries of their construction technology platform. Your focus will be on processing hemispheric imagery and depth point clouds to enable automated detection and segmentation of critical construction site elements.

  • Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models to segment and analyse construction site sensor data.
  • Lead efforts to automate detection and segmentation of key features in construction environments.
  • Collaborate with junior team members, providing technical guidance and mentorship.
  • Innovate and refine algorithms to improve model accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.
  • Work closely with the Director of R&D to align development efforts with company goals.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends in Computer Vision, SLAM, and machine learning.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Senior Machine Learning Engineer role will bring proven experience in computer vision and SLAM technology. You will have hands-on experience building and deploying custom machine learning models, ideally in real-world applications. Your ability to lead technical initiatives independently while guiding junior team members effectively will be crucial. A solid understanding of data processing pipelines along with proficiency in relevant tools such as Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, OpenCV is expected.
