Sonic Summary

The role is for a Cloud Network Architect, primarily remote with occasional travel to London.
Candidates should have proven experience as a Network Architect or Technical Architect, particularly with AWS environments.
The position requires knowledge of Terraform, CloudFormation, and networking protocols such as DNS and BGP, along with experience in DevOps environments.
The contract is initially for 3 months with a high likelihood of extension, and the salary is negotiable within the IR35 framework.
Relevant certifications like CCNP or AWS Solutions Architect are preferred, along with a strong understanding of security and cloud networking.

Role: Cloud Network Architect

Location: Mostly remote, with occcasional travel to London

Rate: Inside IR35 (negotiable on rate)

Duration: Initial 3-month contract (high likelihood of extension)

Xpertise are urgently looking for a Network Cloud Architect/Technical Architect for an immediate start on a huge transformation programme.

Candidates will have the following skills and experience:

Proven experience as a Network Architect / Technical Architect / Cloud Architect
Proven architecture experience of AWS environments
Experience designing and implementing scalable and secure network architecture both in cloud and on-prem environments
Proven experience with design implementation using code
- Knowledge of Terraform, CloudFormation and Bicep
Proven experience of networking protocols including DNS, DHCP, IPAM, BGP and SDN
Proven experience of Fortinet, Palo Alto, Cisco and Checkpoint
Proven experience of Cloud, Hybrid Cloud and Multi Cloud networking
A strong knowledge of DevOps and DevSecOps environments and related technologies
A strong knowledge of Jenkins, Gitlab and other similar CI/CD tools
A strong knowledge of Zero Trust Security and High Availability Content Delivery
Proven experience in large-scale Agile/Scrum environments
Relevant certifications (e.g. CCNP and/or JNCIP, AWS Solutions Architect, etc)

Role is remote with occasional travel to London – inside IR35 – initial 3-month engagement (long term contract expected)
