A leading organisation in Central London is seeking a skilled Infrastructure Technical Consultant to join their team on a contract basis. As an Infrastructure Technical Consultant, you will take ownership of building, planning, and executing critical infrastructure projects. The Infrastructure Technical Consultant expertise in designing scalable, secure, and high-performance systems will be essential as you collaborate with stakeholders to deliver robust solutions. This role requires a proactive individual with strong technical knowledge across cloud platforms, virtualisation, and automation, as well as experience driving end-to-end project lifecycles.
Key Responsibilities - Infrastructure Technical Consultant
- Build and implement scalable and secure infrastructure solutions
- Plan, design, and execute infrastructure projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business goals
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to internal teams on best practices
- Analyse complex systems and resolve technical challenges across cloud and on-premises environments
- Ability to liaise with stakeholders across all business levels throughout project delivery
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and project success
Essential Skills - Infrastructure Technical Consultant
- Proven experience delivering infrastructure projects from planning to execution
- Expertise with Azure or AWS cloud platforms, including design and implementation
- Strong proficiency in Office 365 and virtualisation technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V)
- Advanced scripting skills with PowerShell or similar tools
- Experience building and managing infrastructure solutions for large-scale environments
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Azure, AWS, VMware)
Desirable Skills - Infrastructure Technical Consultant
- Knowledge networking technologies
- Experience in building cloud environments from scratch
- Understanding of cybersecurity principles to ensure secure infrastructure delivery
