Embark on a pivotal role within a prestigious gold mining enterprise, renowned for its commitment to excellence and its dedication to enhancing community welfare. As an IT Administrator specialising in Networks, the successful candidate will come from an MSP (Managed Service Provider) background.

You will be at the heart of operational management within the London office, ensuring the seamless functionality of IT infrastructure and application services, while also supporting vital projects.This position is not merely a job; it is a chance to safeguard the digital heartbeat of an industry leader. The role demands a professional with a robust understanding of networking, particularly within Cisco, Cisco Meraki, and Fortinet environments. The successful individual will be instrumental in managing infrastructure changes, executing smaller network alterations independently, and collaborating with engineers and vendors on more significant modifications.A tertiary qualification in ICT or a related discipline, or equivalent experience exceeding two years, is essential. Candidates with ITIL certification or formal security certifications, such as Microsoft security, Intune, or Azure, will find themselves at an advantage. Proficiency in Windows Server, GPOs, Active Directory, and a senior-level grasp of networking and routing are prerequisites. Whilst experience in the mining sector is not mandatory, it is valued.The ideal candidate will possess exceptional relationship management and teamwork skills, resilience under pressure, and the ability to meet the demands of internal customers. You will be expected to contribute to the continual enhancement of IT services, reduce operating costs, manage risks associated with system changes, and swiftly restore services after any disruptions.
