Sonic Summary

The position is for a Network Engineer specializing in Next Gen, SD-WAN, and Palo Alto Prisma, offering a salary of up to £550 per day (Inside IR35).
The role is based in West London with a hybrid work model requiring 1-2 days on-site each week.
Candidates must have strong commercial experience in large cloud modernization programs and transitioning from legacy technology to Next Gen.
Key skills include expertise in SASE/SSE environments, SD-WAN, Cisco routing and switching, and experience with Palo Alto Prisma and Fortinet.
Immediate availability is required, and previous experience in insurance or banking is a plus, alongside relevant certifications.

My client is a high-profile Insurer who urgently require a Network Engineer to join a business-critical programme.

Key Requirements:

Strong commercial experience working as a Network Engineer on large, complex cloud modernisation programmes, transitioning from legacy technology to Next Gen.
Previous experience working within SASE / SSE environments.
Strong understanding of Network Connectivity, specifically SD-WAN and Next Gen.
Experience with Cisco routing and switching and Wireless LAN.
Demonstrable experience of DDOS vulnerability.
Proven experience with Palo Alto Prisma / Prisma Cloud, Cisco and Fortinet.
Excellent communication and leadership skills within the Network Security space.
Demonstrates a positive and 'can-do' attitude towards work.
Immediate availability.

Nice to have:

Previous Insurance / Banking experience.
Cisco or Palo Alto Certification.
