Are you a talented Network Engineer ready to make a difference in the world of cutting-edge connectivity? Join our team in Reading and play a vital role in ensuring seamless network operations.
What You'll Do:
Network Monitoring:
Utilise industry-leading tools such as LibreNMS, Grafana, Cisco EPNM, Nokia DWDM, Royal TS, Zabbix, and PRTG to keep networks running smoothly.
Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot LAN, WAN, wireless, and firewall issues, including Cisco Firepower, to ensure optimal performance.
Configuration Management: Configure ONTs using the Nokia 5520 AMS client to maintain network integrity.
Ticket Management: Leverage tools like ServiceNow, Jira, and TCS Hobs for efficient issue tracking and resolution.
Collaborative Problem-Solving: Engage with third-party vendors like Cisco and internal teams to swiftly restore services and resolve issues.
Proactive Engagement: Participate in meetings with internal and external stakeholders to address and resolve network challenges.
What We're Looking For:
- Proficiency in network monitoring and troubleshooting.
- Hands-on experience with tools such as LibreNMS, Grafana, and PRTG.
- A strong understanding of LAN/WAN, wireless networks, and firewalls.
- Expertise in ticketing systems like ServiceNow and Jira.
- Collaborative mindset with excellent problem-solving skills.
