Having experienced exceptional growth over the last 15 years, we require a driven individual to join our Service Operations Centre Networking Team.

Main Purpose of the Role

Design, configuration and installation of core networking hardware within Connected landlord buildings.

Act as an escalation to our 1st & 2nd line engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

· Design solutions, configure and install core network hardware, including routers, firewalls and

network switches.

. Act as escalation point to 1st & 2nd line engineering teams.

· Act as technical lead during site wide incidents.

· Configuration of equipment and design of solutions.

Technologies include WAN, LAN, Internet, WAN Optimisation, SIP Trunking, Security, Wi-Fi. Any experience in these areas would be advantageous.

Essential Knowledge

· WAN, LAN and security knowledge.

· Current CCNA/JNCIA certification.

· 2 years’ experience with Juniper routers and switches.

· A full UK driving licence.

Desirable

. Cisco experience

· Fortigate experience.

· 2/3rdLine support experience.

· SIP experience.

· Security hardware experience (Firewall, IDS etc.).

· WAN optimisation experience.

Skills/Knowledge/Understanding

· Excellent listening skills and clear concise verbal and written skills.

· Excellent customer service approach.

· Excellent organisational skills.
