Network Specialist
London (Hybrid)
Responsibilities:
- This role involves assisting in the strategic design and implementation of network infrastructure to ensure high availability, managing service improvement plans, and developing new services as well as enhancing existing ones.
- The candidate will provide third-line IT support, addressing and resolving escalated incidents promptly.
- They will oversee systems for monitoring, backups, disaster recovery, and security patching, and will develop and enforce policies and procedures for standardizing systems and software.
- Additionally, they will contribute to the design and implementation of both long-term strategic goals and short-term tactical plans for network management.
Qualifications:
- The ideal candidate should possess strong technical skills in networking, particularly with Cisco technologies (routing, switching, VPN) and relevant hardware.
- Experience with cloud platforms and network management tools is also required.
- The candidate should demonstrate excellent troubleshooting abilities in Cisco operating systems and have a proven track record in advanced network support.
- A collaborative attitude, responsiveness to customer issues, meticulous attention to detail, and a logical, pragmatic approach to problem-solving are essential traits.
