I'm glad to introduce a really exciting OT Network Engineering position!My client is a multi-national consultancy aiming to bolster and grow their OT security teams. You'll be working within a well-established team with clients across the United Kingdom. My client works within most industries, including Industrial, Energy, Utilities and Manufacturing.What you'll be doing:
  • Design, deploy, and manage OT network infrastructure including switches, routers, firewalls, and VLANs.
  • Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues across control systems.
  • Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to ensure secure integration between IT and OT environments.
  • Configure and maintain industrial Ethernet and fieldbus networks (e.g., Modbus, PROFINET, EtherNet/IP).
  • Implement cybersecurity best practices and standards for OT networks (e.g., segmentation, access control, patch management).
  • Support disaster recovery, backup, and network redundancy planning for industrial systems.
  • Document network architectures, configurations, and procedures.
  • Assist with audits, compliance checks, and vulnerability assessments.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies, standards, and industry trends in industrial networking and cybersecurity.
