Do you consider yourself to be a first class expert in Network Engineering and would love to be part of a team that is set to revolutionise the Digital Asset space?I'm working with a London based company who are imminently set to completely shift how Digital Assets are traded and set a new standard in what is arguably one of the most exciting markets.
You will be joining an incredible Infrastructure team, reporting to the Head of IT Infrastructure. You will be working with developers, project stakeholders, and operations, to support the build of the network infrastructure.
This is a hands on position and very involved in the day to day, therefore, the ideal candidate will most likely come from a smaller to medium sized business and very used to being hands on across the entire network infrastructure.
You'll need to demonstrate your experience in the provision of exchange infrastructure, including switches, routers & firewalls, and your working knowledge of products from Cisco, Fortinet, Arista will be exceptional.
You will ideally hold a CCIE certification, although CCNP will also be considered.
What are we looking for?
- Ideally you will have at least 5 years experience in deploying network solutions
- Experience from Financial Services, Fintech, or a similar regulated environment is essential
- You'll have a depth of working knowledge with standard network protocols, such as OSPF, BGP, BFD, VRRP
- Experience of multicast architecture & protocols including PIM-SM and IGMPv2 is also of great benefit
- Previos experience managing vendors, strong communication and business partnering experience, and the ability to work across mutli-disciplines teams are all essential elements of this role
This role is London office based with the majority of the time office based.
