Senior Network Engineer (contract)I am recruiting for a senior network engineer to work for a financial services client. You will be securing networked systems by establishing and enforcing policies, defining, and monitoring access. The role will be BAU.Experience* Experienced with firewalls especially working with Cisco, Fortigate, Juniper or Palo Alto.* Strong technical expertise with Cisco devices, including ACI.* Able to demonstrate significant network and voice experience.* Installation and configuration FortiGate firewalls and FortiManager clusters.* Virtualisation Fortigate gateways for VDOMs firewalls and FortiManagers for ADOMs* Experience with routing protocols - OSPF and BGP* Experience with routing technologies such as VRF, VDC, ACL, NAT, etc* Cisco Certified Network Professional Routing and Switching (CCNP Routing & Switching) or equivalent level of experience.* Network Security * Detailed knowledge in TCP/IP, LAN, WAN, VPN, Wireless, routing protocols (OSPF, BGP) and network monitoring tools* Any experience with AWS or Azure* Broad knowledge of IT infrastructure, systems and services* Collaborative team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills.* Exceptional communication & teamwork skills * Any experience within banking, financial or investment banking would be usefulThis roles is fully remote in the UK, 12 months length in contract, rate is £399 per day via umbrella, inside IR35.
