As an Associate Head of Data, you'll drive efficiency and effectiveness, ensuring staff time is optimised, and automation is maximised. You'll contribute to the development and execution of the organisation's digital plan and data and analytics strategy, including how the team should be structured to best undertake its responsibilities going forward.
You'll be responsible for ensuring all data is handled efficiently, securely, and carefully, ensuring the organisation's platform strategy and operations are fully aligned, positioning the function to deliver greater value in support of the organisation's overall strategy.
In addition, you'll ensure the technology platforms and infrastructure meet performance targets, continually measure technology performance and costs, ensure data and database applications are kept up to date, and establish robust processes to build, track, optimise and review software and technology procurement spend across the organisation.
Your profile
- Experience implementing digital and data strategies in line with objectives, frameworks, and measures; experience reviewing the effectiveness of data processes
- Knowledge and experience ensuring technology platforms and infrastructure meet performance targets; implementing infrastructure and platform solutions that align to the enterprise architecture frameworks and roadmaps
- Knowledge and experience administering complex RDBMS CRM solutions across a diverse user base (IBM iSeries, The Raiser's Edge, and Azure); competent level of leadership with ETL processes (Talend)
- Knowledge and experience with CI/CD practices and product-centric models
- Knowledge of GDPR legislation, Consent Management, BACS and Gift Aid processing and how it impacts data collection, capture, storage, and maintenance
- Knowledge of current and emerging platform technologies and practices
- Experience defining and communicating outcomes, timelines, and milestones for complex activities for yourself and team - managing these to time, cost and quality parameters
- Knowledge and experience developing processes to build, track, optimise and review software and technology procurement spend across an organisation
