Great opportunity working for a large Banking Institution in London. The Analytics Governance Manager is a key role in the Data Analytics Team, one of six functions within the EMEA Data Office. This role will help to is to ensure that Key Data Outputs (KDOs) within the business (including all of the important metrics, reports, dashboards and models) comply with legal requirements, regulatory standards and best practices.Key Responsibilities:
- To champion and be the expert on analytics governance standards with the ability to articulate “what good looks like” in establishing capability.
- Establish a robust Analytics Governance Framework capability across EMEA aligned to the EMEA’s Data Management Framework, which has been defined and established by the Data Governance team.
- Provide training, mentoring and coaching of others in establishing and adhering to the Analytics Governance principles set out by the Framework.
- Identify and classify our Key Data Outputs (KDOs) across all EMEA departments.
- Identify opportunities for decommissioning and deduplication of KDOs
- Create baseline assessments for Key Data Outputs (KDOs) and identify remediation activities necessary to ensure compliance with relevant Analytics Governance Framework principles
- Experience establishing analytics capability, and in particular establishing Analytics Governance or End User Computer (EUC)) Governance, for other organisations.
- Experience establishing governance frameworks supporting BCBS239 principles. Experience of European Central Bank (ECB) onboarding would be a plus.
- Experience in using and configuring cataloguing tools, such as Collibra.
- Experience of working in the financial services industry and knowledge of data related regulatory requirements for financial service sector.
