Data Transformation Lead - Insurance company.

london/Hybrid.

This position will provide portfolio management leadership for our Chubb Overseas General (COG) business unit within the Global Data Organization.

Responsibilities include the following:

  • Lead in the implementation of Agile delivery principles and practices within the COG domain and help on the dissemination of the methodology across technical and business teams
  • Provide financial/resource/strategic portfolio management support at the Domain level, partnering closely with the COG Domain Leader
  • Manage/oversee the execution and delivery of our COG data portfolio
  • Ensure the COG squads are implementing Quarterly Planning, Iteration Planning, Backlog Refinement, Stand-ups, Demos, and Retrospectives in alignment with enterprise/GDO standards
  • Mitigate risks, issues, and impediments at the domain/org level to help the teams/organization be successful
  • Ensure squad/domain synchronization, process efficiency, and continuous improvement processes are being implemented, leveraging metrics/reporting and tooling (Jira) according to the methodology
  • Build a culture that promotes transparency, inspection, and adaptation
  • Embrace, champion, and adapt to change and transformation in alignment with business goals and the overall strategic direction
  • Populate scorecards and status reports as needed to provide timely and accurate progress on COG initiatives
  • Oversee/govern both internal and external spend to ensure alignment with the budget
  • Clearly and effectively communicate at all levels of management and across multiple stakeholde

Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills with stakeholder management experience required
  • Agile and Jira experience and expertise required
  • Experience leading/overseeing multiple teams at once
  • People / portfolio management experience including resource planning and financial management
  • Demonstrated experience in leading change and/or transformation
  • Proficiency in Microsoft suite - PowerPoint, Excel, MS Teams, Sharepoint, and Word
