Join a prestigious independent music company as a Digital Operations Manager based in central London. This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive and highly organised individual with a passion for music, looking to take the next step in their career by working across international markets. Reporting to the Head of Repertoire Operations, you’ll be responsible for overseeing the smooth day-to-day operations of digital content distribution, ensuring all new releases are handled efficiently and to the highest standards. This role offers a fantastic challenge for someone with strong operational experience in the music industry, particularly around digital service providers (DSPs) and supply chain management.Key Responsibilities
  • Manage technical issue resolution and ensure timely solutions.
  • Lead regular scheduling meetings with the repertoire units.
  • Delegate workload across the team to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Perform regular supply chain health checks and monitor quality control standards.
  • Advise clients on non-standard release plans and contribute to department projects.
  • Act as the first point of escalation for issues within the team, handling critical problems with confidence and professionalism.
  • Support and manage a small team, providing guidance and mentoring.
  • Report to and work closely with the Head of Repertoire Operations.
Must-Have Experience
  • Managerial experience: You will need to have demonstrated experience managing teams in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Repertoire/metadata experience: A solid understanding of repertoire management and metadata, with expertise in industry metadata style guides.
About You
  • Strong understanding of digital supply chain systems, including DDEX ERN and XML formats.
  • Experience working with Digital Service Providers (DSPs) and Content Management Systems.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure.
  • Strong communication skills and experience managing teams.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and good working knowledge of Outlook.
  • Passionate about music and keen to contribute to the team’s success.
