They’re on a mission to revolutionize industries through innovative AI solutions. Their dynamic team is passionate about pushing the boundaries of what's possible with machine learning and data science.

Role Overview:

They’re seeking an experienced and visionary Head of Data to join their leadership team and drive their data strategy. In this pivotal role, you'll be responsible for building and leading their data team, architecting their data infrastructure, and leveraging data to fuel innovative solutions for their industry leading clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive data strategy aligned with their internal and client business objectives
  • Build and lead a high-performing team of data scientists, engineers, and analysts
  • Design and implement scalable data architecture and pipelines
  • Oversee data governance, quality, and security practices
  • Collaborate with AI research and engineering teams to support model development and deployment
  • Drive data-driven decision making across the organization
  • Stay abreast of latest trends in data science and AI, identifying opportunities for innovation

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in data science, engineering, or related field
  • 3+ years in a leadership role managing data teams
  • Strong background in machine learning, statistical analysis, and data modelling
  • Expertise in big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Scala
  • Experience with data visualization tools and BI platforms
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • MSc or PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, or related field preferred
