As a rapidly growing organisation with a forward-thinking approach, they are seeking a Head of IT to Manage their IT Infrastructure.This is a stand-alone role, offering a fantastic opportunity for an experienced IT professional who thrives on working in a hands-on capacity while shaping the future of the company's IT infrastructure.Role Overview:As the Head of IT, you will be responsible for managing the entire IT function (excluding Cyber Security), from 1st to 3rd line support, through to creating and delivering an IT roadmap to support the company's growth. You will be the first point of contact for IT support and collaborate with C-level executives, stakeholders, and external cyber security partners to ensure a secure and robust IT environment.This role requires a dynamic, personable, and confident individual with strong technical expertise and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide hands-on IT support across all levels (1st to 3rd line), resolving technical issues promptly and efficiently.
  • Develop and implement an IT strategy and roadmap aligned with the company's growth objectives.
  • Manage and maintain IT infrastructure, ensuring system availability, security, and scalability.
  • Act as the primary liaison with external cybersecurity partners to safeguard the organisation's data and systems.
  • Oversee a Google Environment potentially transitioning to Microsoft.
  • Collaborate with C-level executives and other stakeholders to understand business requirements and provide IT solutions.
  • Lead IT-related projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Establish and maintain IT policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Keep abreast of emerging technologies and recommend improvements to enhance business operations.

Key Requirements:

  • Strong technical knowledge across IT support levels (1st to 3rd line).
  • Experience in developing and executing IT strategies and roadmaps.
  • Hands-on experience with Google Workspace administration.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to confidently engage with C-level executives.
  • Personable and proactive with excellent communication skills.
  • Highly organised with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
