A leading commercial insurer is currently looking for an IT Application Development Manager to join their IT team within their London office permanently.You will be accountable for a number of their applications, with the ability to understand and develop the roadmaps, provide general maintenance, support, and change for the assigned applications, and oversee a number of developers, analysts, and subject matter experts.The successful candidate will be:Confident with managing a development team in a similar role, within Insurance or Financial Services A broad understanding of the system development lifecycle and application programme development. Working knowledge of Microsoft, SQL, .ASP.Net, .NET 3.5, and web services, as well as knowledge of ITIL methodologies. Ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels, with the ability to influence and negotiate when required. Clear and concise verbal and written communication.
