Salt Recruitment is working with a Local Government client in South West London to recruit an Interim IT Infrastructure & Operations Manager. This is a 3-month rolling contract, requiring on-site presence three days per week (non-negotiable).
The Role:- Lead and manage a multi-disciplinary IT operations team across servers, end-user computing, networks, and telephony.
- Oversee key technologies including AWS, Azure, Windows 11, Firewalls, DNS, and Teams telephony.
- Ensure high availability, security, and efficiency of IT services.
- Implement best practices and drive continuous improvement.
- Proven experience in IT operations and infrastructure management.
- Hands-on expertise across cloud, networking, and end-user computing.
- Local Government or wider public sector experience is highly desirable.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage technical teams in a fast-paced environment.
- 3-month rolling contract
- £550 per day (via umbrella)
- On-site in South West London - 3 days per week
