Candidates should have a strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile project management practices, including proficiency in tools like JIRA.
A background in Java or Python, along with experience in AWS or other cloud technologies, is necessary, although hands-on coding is not part of the role.
The salary for this position is £125,000, with an additional guaranteed bonus of £15,000 and a potential 25% discretionary bonus, and it requires working in a hybrid model three times a week in Central London.

Hybrid: 3 x a week in Central London Office

Key Requirements:

Technology and software engineering background with rich experience in building and delivering large enterprise systems in financial services/investment management domain.
Experience in building data analytics platforms in investment and asset management domain.
Good knowledge of SDLC and best practices in application development. Proven hands-on software development experience and having then moved into a management role with a minimum of 4+ years of proven and demonstrable project, technology & people leadership experience.
Although hands-on coding is not part of the role, Java or Python background, experience of working with data platforms and knowledge of AWS or other cloud technologies will be required.
Good experience in agile project management practices (Scrum/Kanban) and good knowledge of various tools (JIRA in particular).
