My client are currently looking for a desktop supervisor to come and join their team on a permanent basis. You will oversee the daily operations and also help the team. My client are ideally looking for someone who understands the schedule of rates / variations. You will play a crucial part of the team by applying techincal support and enhancing exprience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and lead the desktop support team, providing guidance and support.
  • Assign tasks, monitor performance, and conduct regular team meetings.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues for desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
  • Ensure timely response to support tickets and effective resolution of incidents.
  • Manage inventory of IT assets and coordinate procurement of new equipment.
  • Develop and implement desktop management policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration and support of systems.
  • Provide training and support to end-users on various applications and tools.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and technologies.
  • Prepare and present reports on team performance and IT metrics.

Qualifications:

  • Previous work experience as a desktop supervisor
  • Experience as a planner (desirable)
  • Experience in schedule or rates and variations
  • Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership position.
  • Strong knowledge of desktop operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux).
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
