Payments Product Owner - Digital Product Owner - Payments
As a Digital Product Owner within our clients Online Payments team, you will be an integral part of the business, working closely not only with the rest of the product team but also with key stakeholders, other Product Managers and technical teams to make your product the best it could possibly be. You will report into the Group Product Manager for Payments and work closely with them to align and deliver roadmaps, business opportunities with stakeholder priorities and interests.
Responsibilities Include
- Manage the clients roadmap, delivering products and features aligned with organisations strategic goals and customer needs
- Create high level backlog and priorities in conjunction with stakeholders
- Work with engineering teams, Solutions Architect and Delivery Lead to planning product releases and track progress
- Ensure technical complexity is taken into account for backlog prioritisation alongside business value
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure functional and non-functional requirements are delivered
- Deliver key initiatives to meet the clients business objectives
- Be the voice of the clients customers and build strong relationships with key stakeholders in order to effectively represent customer needs
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of card payments, payment gateways, and acquirer responsibilities
- Proven experience as a Product Owner for API-based products in an Agile environment
- Experience in Fintech, Payments or Consumer Credit is important with a preference on newer Digital wallets such as ApplePay, GooglePay and Klarna will be highly desirable but not essential.
- Retail background would be an advantage
- A data-driven and collaborative Digital Product Manager with experience of working in complex global organisations with highly matrixed teams and internal and external stakeholders
