EGRC Product Owner

We are currently hiring for a EGRC Product Owner to join one of our Insurance clients on a 6-month contract.

Key Responsibilities

  • As a member of the Agile Product Team, the Product Owner must ensure there is an aligned understanding of how the team can provide the highest value to the customer and will:
  • Represent the voice of the customer and the organisation.
  • Work closely with business sponsors and stakeholder to define and prioritise features, ensuring alignment with customer needs and organisational goals.
  • Collaborate with the GRS Architecture Team and assigned Architect to make sure that architecture direction and decisions relating to the technologies supporting the platform are appropriately discussed and debated to get to the best outcomes for the customer.
  • Own and maintain the product backlog and be accountable for its maintenance.
  • Work effectively as part of a team alongside the Scrum Master, development team and other team members, clarifying business requirements, removing roadblocks and open issues/questions as quickly and efficiently as possible.
  • Contribute to Portfolio level 30/60/90-day planning sessions.
  • Set expectations with stakeholders for delivery of new capabilities and features; responsible for developing clear, actionable user stories.
  • Line management of Product Analysts
  • Support and (where necessary) organise product Sprint demonstrations, retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies.

Skills and Experience

  • Extensive experience in acting as a Product owner / delivery lead within a team focusing on Technology SAAS related projects/programs of work .
  • Extensive experience in acting as a Product Owner within a team within a team focused on Regulatory and Risk Management initiatives.??
  • Experience with data governance, integrity, lineage & management
  • Considerable relevant industry or functional experience in Insurance, including in Speciality, Commercial
  • Experience shaping global operating models/frameworks and ensuring their effective adoption
  • Track record of implementing solutions and changes with realised, measurable value
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Demonstrable experience of delivering complex initiatives
  • Experience with EGRC and associated processes, governance etc
  • Exposure to OpenPages & its feature set
