The Data Centres Project Management team is responsible to deliver Hyperscale projects across the UK and Europe from inception to practical completion and, as Data Centre Associate Project Manager you will work closely with each client to ensure the successful delivery of schemes throughout London and the UK.

You will be working on high profile projects across London/UK ranging from new build to fit out, refurbishments and technology upgrades.

Description

As Data Centre Associate Project Manager you will be working on high profile projects across London/UK and the type of work will range from new build to fit out, refurbishments and technology upgrades.

This Role presents an excellent opportunity for a proactive and experienced individual to take responsibility for providing all services relating to project management on Data Centre project

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing the delivery of Data Centre projects;
  • Advising on site acquisitions, development appraisals and providing technical due diligence;
  • Appointing external consultant and design teams, manage design development and planning applications;
  • Tendering and procuring main contractors;
  • Reporting to clients and internal client team;
  • Managing internal and external multi-disciplinary teams;
  • Contract administrating through the delivery stages and coordinating testing/commissioning processes post construction;
  • Supporting the development of the project management team and participating in business development activities to secure future pipeline.

Profile

In order to be considered you must demonstrate a track record in project management roles within a data centre consultancy environment.

You must have a construction related degree, ideally a professional qualification (MCIOB, MRICS, MAPM, ChPP, etc,), understand technical aspects of project delivery from inception to post-completion and the ability to identify and promote solutions.

Extensive technical delivery experience (RIBA 3-6) of data centres/mission critical projects within a PM consultancy firm or as a client-side project manager are essential and non-negotiable.
