Salt are recruiting for an immediate requirement with a public sector client of ours who is looking for a DDaT Project Manager.

This will be an Inside IR35 contract for 6 months rolling. It would be a hybrid role with 2 days a week expected in office, based Manchester.

Experience:

* Significant project management experience of complex change, from commissioning through to project closure.

* Track record of successful delivery of digital projects that introduce business change and benefits.

* Significant experience of stakeholder management, RAID management, change control and benefit management.

* Significant experience of resource & budget forecasting and management.

* Proven ability to manage multiple projects, problem-solving, prioritising and employing a wide variety of tools and techniques to overcome challenges and deliver success.

* Experience of managing cross-functional teams to successfully develop and implement change.

Skills:

* Ability to work as part of a team to achieve common objectives and meet tight deadlines.

* Excellent stakeholder management skills: motivating, influencing and coordinating internal and external stakeholders at all levels to achieve specific aims and objectives.

* Ability to identify and effectively manage risks, assumptions, issues, dependencies, benefits and change control.

* Excellent communication skills, orally and in writing: public speaking; chairing meetings; presenting information accurately, clearly and concisely; translating technical detail for a non-technical audience; ability to constructively challenge back/offer up alternative solutions.

* Good root cause analysis and problem-solving skills.
