Delivery Manager - Utilities - Hybrid Working - Inside IR35

Our client are currently looking to hire a Delivery Manager with Rollout project experience to join the team on a contract basis. This role would be hybrid working, with client locations in either Winchester or London.

Knowledge & Experience:

  • Substantial experience managing medium, large and complex change.
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams, preferably having previously supported the transformation to a more agile environment
  • Experience of delivering projects with budgets in excess of £500k?
  • Financial and project planning expertise?

Accountabilities:

  • Creation of all appropriate documents and deliverable as outlined by Value Management Office.
  • Drive continual improvement and pursue transformation and change
  • Delivery Manager to work in alignment with Product to ensure customer focused delivery is achieved in line with Product Roadmap and Budgets.
  • Manage customer and supplier relationships to ensure ongoing cost effective and high-quality delivery during project execution in alignment with Product.
  • Defines project governance models and reporting structures for effective project delivery, and communicates (and updates) business stakeholders
  • Define and implement programme controls and governance (aligned with Value Management Office) to ensure process, documentation, risks and issues and Health and Safety practice comply with best practice and ISO standards
  • Oversees prioritisation and selection of projects, managing overall output and ensuring alignment with strategic objectives
  • Responsible for supporting cross-functional teams in project or product delivery
  • Provides regular reports to other area leads and wider business
  • Manages changes in scope, costs, resources, and timing within the framework of agreed governance and change control processes
  • Assists with creation of detailed and accurate budgets and provide accurate forecasts monthly
  • Take personal accountability for quality and accuracy of delivery management performance and deliverables
  • Proactively supporting the implementation of the new PM tooling modules governance systems and tools used and champion usage across the business
