Generative AI Engineering Manager - sought by leading investment bank based in Canary Wharf - Hybrid - Contract

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage generative AI projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data scientists, engineers, and product managers to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Communicate project status, updates, and challenges to stakeholders and senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in AI development.
  • Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in managing AI or machine learning projects.
  • Strong understanding of generative AI technologies and their applications.
  • Excellent project management skills with a track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
  • Exceptional communication and leadership abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • PMP or similar project management certification is a plus
