IT Manager is required by an established retail company located in close proximity to Farringdon Station and paying up to 60k. You will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the IT department consisting of 5 staff members. With over 20 years of successful operations, the business now recognises the need to enhance their IT infrastructure to support their planned growth. As they undergo significant changes, including the split of the company into two separate entities, they anticipate the need for robust IT systems to facilitate their expansion plans.
The primary focus of the role revolves around ongoing support to ensure smooth operation of the IT systems, provide assistance in administering M365 licensing and access/restrictions for employee devices as well as assessing their current IT set-up and potentially propose clear pathway for network expansion and restructuring to accommodate growth. The position also entails the ongoing management and coordination of the BAU tasks third-party entities, including internal service providers on a day-to-day basis.

* Possess broad technical understanding of IT Infrastructure
* Ensure efficient systems operations, covering capacity and performance.
* Contribute to risk management and identify innovation opportunities.
* Leading new systems roll-out and support deployment success.
* Assist in small to medium-sized changes for BAU operations.
* Manage internal shared service department performance.
Requirements
* Fundamental grasp of on-premises client-server solutions.
* Exposure to cloud platform technologies.
* Familiarity with the ITIL framework, encompassing problem, incident, and change functions.
* Coordination of supplier management and selection of third-party services.
* Expertise in managing a sophisticated technology stack within a complex IT organisation.
* Proactive self-starter with a strong sense of ownership and professionalism.
