Onsite Working - Monday to Friday during Term time - flexibility to work from home, or reduced hours during the school holiday periods.

Must be Eligible to work in the UK

  • The IT Manager must have hands-on 3rd Line Support experience & Education Sector experience.
  • Additional IT Support is provided by an external MSP.
  • The role will support 100 staff & 270 students.

Technical Skills - Experience Required:

  • IT Manager /or/ 3rd Line IT Engineer - Hands-on - ideally Education Sector experience.
  • 3rd Line IT Support experience - hands-on.
  • Office 365 Administration.
  • Windows 11/10.
  • Support of End User Devices - iPhone, iPads, Android & Tablets.
  • Apple, MAC - limited support required.
  • MDM - Intune or similar MDM tool.
  • Good knowledge & experience of - Networks, Network Servers (DNS, DHCP, AD), Firewalls, Web Filter, VLANS, Switches & Router configuration.
  • Hardware & Software support - installation, configuration & deployment.
  • Network Printers.
  • Media Audio/Visual devices - i.e., Projectors & Interactive Displays etc.
  • Security - Firewall, AV, Web Filters & Security Policies.
  • IP Telephony support.
  • iSAMS - desirable experience.
  • Leadership/mentoring - role will lead an IT Engineer - 1st/2nd Line Support.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Good organizational skills & proactive approach.

Working Hours:

  • This is an on-site role - during Term Time between the hours are - 8.00am - 4.30pm /
  • During the School Holidays - 8:00am - 4:00pm - with some flexibility to work from home.
