IT Manager

IT Manager is required by the Head Office of a company located in Hammersmith paying up to 70k. There is an element of Hybrid to the role. You will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the IT department in the UK consisting of 180 users as well as managing numerous projects. Operating within a shared service model, the role spans two major business units and involves overseeing around 150 applications of varying sizes and technologies.

The primary focus of the role revolves around the entire systems lifecycle, ensuring optimal performance, security and timely resolution of incidents. The position also entails the ongoing management and coordination of third-party entities, including internal service providers on a day-to-day basis.

Responsibilities

* Manage network communication and relationships.
* Oversee systems life-cycle, from cradle to grave.
* Possess broad technical understanding of the technology stack.
* Ensure efficient systems operations, covering capacity and performance.
* Contribute to risk management and identify innovation opportunities.
* Leading new systems roll-out and support deployment success.
* Assist in small to medium-sized changes for BAU operations.
* Manage internal shared service department performance.

Requirements

* Fundamental grasp of on-premises client-server solutions.
* Exposure to cloud platform technologies.
* Familiarity with the ITIL framework, encompassing problem, incident, and change functions.
* Coordination of supplier management and selection of third-party services.
* Expertise in managing a sophisticated technology stack within a complex IT organisation.
* Proactive self-starter with a strong sense of ownership and professionalism.
