Are you an experienced IT professional ready to make a significant impact in a vibrant educational environment? We are looking for an IT Manager to join an innovative independent school in London. Salary: Up to £50,000 per annum, depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

As the IT Manager, you will:

  • Oversee the management of the entire IT environment, including MS365 cloud tenancy, network infrastructure, and end-user devices.
  • Provide exceptional IT support to staff and students, ensuring a seamless technology experience.
  • Coordinate with the IT engineer and external Managed Service Providers (MSP) to ensure effective IT service delivery.
  • Develop and implement the IT strategy and roadmap in collaboration with the school’s senior leadership team.
  • Monitor IT infrastructure performance and manage procurement, installation, and maintenance of IT equipment.
  • Deliver IT projects aimed at enhancing the learning experience and improving infrastructure.
  • Ensure compliance with global IT policies and adherence to health and safety standards.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development within the IT team.

Essential Skills & Experience

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Proven experience in managing IT systems, particularly within an educational setting.
  • Strong expertise in Microsoft Windows operating systems, Office 365 administration, and mobile device management (InTune).
  • Solid knowledge of networking, including DNS, DHCP, firewalls, and switch/router configuration.
  • Experience with audio-visual equipment in educational environments.
  • Proficiency in managing supplier relationships and leading IT projects.
