Position: IT Project Manager

Contract Length: 6 months

Location: London/Hybrid

Day Rate: £400 via Umbrella Company

As an IT Project Manager, you will play a vital role in assisting senior management with IT assessment projects, internal and external audits, and various administrative tasks. You will serve as a liaison between different business sections and the IT team, ensuring effective communication and understanding. Your responsibilities will include managing documentation, handling auditor inquiries, and overseeing compliance with application construction and maintenance procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a representative of the IT team, communicating with various business sections
  • Ensure proper documentation and adherence to administrative procedures
  • Facilitate communication between team members and auditors
  • Monitor and respond to operational issues in audit/security perspective
  • Assume management responsibilities in the absence of senior-level personnel
  • Stay updated on audit, regulatory, and compliance trends in the banking sector

Background and Skills:

  • Conversational Japanese speaking is essential
  • Experience driving and delivering IT projects, with an emphasis on audits
  • Understanding of MS .NET Framework environments and SQL Server/Oracle databases
  • Extensive experience in Windows application development or relevant areas
  • Strong data analysis skills
  • Proficiency in operating system installation/version and network configuration
  • Previous experience in the IT industry
  • University graduate level education
  • Strong leadership and mentoring abilities
  • Excellent communication skills
