Our client, a leading tech company, is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the application of project management methodology throughout all project phases, ensuring successful delivery of high-quality software solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, track, and manage project budget, plans, timelines, and scope.
  • Manage project resources, including procuring project staff, providing motivation, coaching, and advice.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional project teams to define business requirements.
  • Lead teams of developers in delivering software solutions that meet business needs.
  • Define and execute test plans, ensuring defect-free products before User Acceptance Testing.
  • Facilitate the User Acceptance Testing process, including developing rollout plans and procedures.
  • Prepare and present cost-benefit analyses to stakeholders.
  • Ensure the utilisation of appropriate systems development and project management processes.
  • Conduct presentations to steering committees or project sponsors.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science or computer engineering required.
  • MBA or other related advanced degree preferred.
  • PMP or PMI certification.
  • Proven project management experience.
  • Strong people management and team-building skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt in a changing environment and manage competing priorities.
  • Quick learner with the ability to work well with business partners at all levels.
  • Effective risk assessment and application of management principles.
  • Experience delivering technology and business application solutions in a large-scale, multi-platform systems environment.
