Equifind are working with an established international brokerage firm in the centre of London, who are in need of a proven project manager to join the business for the next year.

The business has implemented a couple of bespoke systems over the last few years, and you will join the business during the cycle of one which is due to go live early next year.

If you enjoy running interesting projects and dealing with stakeholders across the wider business, then this could be a great opportunity.

You will work closely with the head of systems and assist with the launch of a brand new, bespoke system for the business.

Some key duties and responsibilities for this project manager position include:

  • Look after the system integration, including timelines, milestones, resource allocation, and risk management strategies
  • Serve as the main point of contact between senior management, external vendors, and other stakeholders across the business, ensuring clear communication of project status, feedback, and deliverables
  • Identify, assess, and manage project risks, ensuring that issues are mitigated or resolved efficiently
  • Identify opportunities to enhance operational efficiency, streamline processes, and improve client services across the brokerage
  • Monitor and report on project progress using key performance indicators (KPIs) and project management tools
  • Work closer with your manager to oversee change management efforts, ensuring smooth transitions during the adoption of new processes, systems, or regulatory requirements

Experience & Qualifications

  • A proven project manager with experience of multiples projects through the years
  • A strong background in financial services would be a big plus ideally brokerage
  • Experience of Futures and other financial instruments would be preferable
  • PRINCE2 would be advantageous
  • Used to working in a flexible and agile environment to meet strict deadlines
  • Familiarity of multiple trading systems
  • Strong stakeholder engagement

A long-time established brokerage firm who are based in the heart of London. The business offers trading services to both financial institutions and corporate clients across the globe.

The team has extensive experience in this space and its performance is a result of the great advice and relationships that have been built.

The team in London is around 30 heads, so you will be working in a small but high-performing company. This will allow you maximum interaction to everyone across the London branch, in addition to dealing with the international offices as and when required.

The office in London is very central and has a very professional atmosphere and requires someone willing to work in the office three times per week.

Salary

This exciting opportunity for a project manager will pay in the region of £60k-£70k, depending on your background and experience.

We will also look at candidates who are happy to work 3-4 days per week at pro rata equivalent.

Interviews will take place in the next week, with a view to starting late October or early November.
