Computappoint is proud to partner with a leading commodities trading company based in London, seeking a dedicated Junior Project Manager to join their dynamic team.
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional who is looking to gain valuable experience within the financial sector while managing crucial infrastructure projects. In this role, you will be part of a supportive community and contribute significantly to the successful execution of projects, ensuring that they are completed on time and to the highest standards.
Role Details:
- Intial 6 month contract
- £400/day (Outside IR35)
- 3 days on-site per week
- Soho, London
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning and execution of infrastructure projects from initiation through to completion.
- Coordinate with various stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and team members, to ensure smooth project operations.
- Monitor project progress, identifying any potential risks and implementing mitigation strategies as necessary.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and financial tracking.
- Contribute to project meetings, providing updates and insights to enhance team communication and efficiency.
- Support the Senior Project Manager with ad-hoc project management tasks as required.
Experience/Skills Required:
- Previous experience in project management.
- Experience within financial services
- Experience managing infrastructure related projects
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Proficient in project management tools and methodologies.
