We are recruiting for a Project Management Business Partner for a leading Aerospace organisation based in London, This is a hybrid role with 3 days a week on site, 2 days WFH.

Role Overview

We are looking for highly a motivated individual to join our team in the role of Project Management Business Partner (PMBP) to support the growing SXE (Services Ecosystem Development & Integration) from SX Connected Aircraft Programme.

Project Management itself is a vital part of the Business. BX is strongly supporting the transition to drive the business into the digital age by bridging the gap between the current way of working and an agile, flexible and anticipating collaboration to meet all business commitments. In our daily business we are operating in a transnational environment, right at the crossroads between management and operations. Clear communication is essential. We ensure all projects and portfolios are supported for their specific needs.

BX function & high level description: BX is a Cross-Programme Planning and Business Performance organization in charge of supporting the operations and spreading the PM culture through the business in all programs and in all functions.

  • You will bring your expertise in order to manage projects successfully and efficiently.
  • You will act in close cooperation with the project leaders, to animate a wide and rich transnational stakeholder network within all company divisions.

The Position will involve occasional travel for business.

Objects of SX

  • Connectivity (from A/C to ground)
  • On-board digital platform (incl. server, network, WAPs, IoT)
  • On-ground digital platform (incl. Cloud, Monitoring, Confir Management)
  • Connected assets (e.g. cameras, IoT sensors)
  • Management of ecosystem (E2E digital applications and services)
  • Foster new service development internally and externally
  • Onboard new service partners
  • Support offer ability management for new services and apps

Responsibilities

The provider will support the Minimum Valuable Ecosystem involving 4 airlines and shall ensure robust on time in the following main PM deliveries:

  • Set up governance
  • Progress review follow-up
  • Management plan
  • Stakeholder management
  • Set up KPIs
  • Roadmap/timeline

This is an umbrella contract, the role is Inside IR35
