DIGITAL PROJECT MANAGER

c£45,000 - £50,000 | 12-month Fixed Term Contract | London (hybrid working, 2-3 days per week onsite)

Our client is on a digital and innovation mission to provide their customers and people with the best experience and tools possible. They have an ambitious five-year plan, along with the resource and funding to deliver real step-changes in digital. We have been engaged to support the delivery of this plan by mobilising a Digital Project Manager.

The ideal candidate will be asked to take the lead on ensuring that assigned digital innovation and digital transformation projects are delivered to time, budget and quality with benefits realised in-line with business cases. Please note this is a hybrid working role and you can expect to be onsite 2-3 days per week as required by the needs of your projects.

The successful candidate will

As Digital Project Manager you’ll be responsible for the overall delivery of digital projects in line with our client’s ways of working, ensuring that stakeholders are managed effectively, key activities are identified and tracked, and budgets are controlled. Essentially, you’ll ensure that assigned projects are delivered to time, budget and quality with business case benefits realised.

  • You'll own the full project life-cycle for specific digital innovation and digital transformation projects from initiation through to the end delivery taking into consideration the planning, coordination, implementation, execution, and control of the full digital project.
  • Projects will need to be delivered ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments, and goals.
  • You’ll be the owner of project budgets ensuring there are no over/under spends beyond agreed tolerances.
  • You will be responsible for managing the handover to BAU, so production stability is maintained.
  • As a leader you will be building and maintaining motivated teams, making sure there is an iterative plan for them to work towards.

Our client is looking for

  • Demonstrable track record of digital innovation and digital transformation project management and delivery.
  • The ability to manage, engage and lead a range of stakeholders at all levels.
  • Financial management, to include budget management and controls.
  • Be able to develop complex plans managing multiple suppliers and dependencies.
  • Well-developed influencing and communication skills.
  • Prince2 or equivalent project management qualification (desirable but not essential)
