This role will consist of:

  • Creating and overseeing comprehensive work plans and project schedules, ensuring the project's delivery aligns with the business objectives. Applying a hands-on approach, you will be leading the delivery to meet established time, cost, and quality requirements.
  • You will foster strong working relationships with team members, peers, and vendors to guarantee the successful achievement of project goals. You will identify the necessary resources to meet objectives and manage them in an efficient and effective manner.
  • You will oversee the implementation and testing of new systems, as well as their integration with existing systems, in alignment with the defined project scope.
  • You will establish and maintain structured processes for managing project scope throughout its lifecycle, setting clear quality and performance standards, and evaluating potential risks. Regular updates will be provided to business stakeholders and other relevant parties, covering strategy, adjustments, and overall project progress.
  • Ensuring a smooth service transition, including the setup and execution of the aftercare phase, to ensure stable service delivery post-project completion.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience and knowledge of project management principles, methodologies and tools
  • A strong history of working on technology initiatives, especially in the implementation of ERP solutions. Financial system implementation experience desired.
  • Pragmatic approach to continuous improvement, ensuring systems are always utilised to the best of their ability.
  • Capable of working effectively across all organisational levels, fostering a collaborative environment and a team-oriented mindset.
  • Skilled at building and maintaining positive relationships across all levels of the organization. Able to influence others and align teams towards a unified vision or goal.
  • Sharp business acumen, with a solid understanding of organizational dynamics and the challenges that come with large-scale transformation programs.
  • A financial background, i.e. accountant, financial managers etc. desireable but not a necessity.
