Project Manager

Reed Professional Services is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our tea The role involves managing interdependencies between projects and programmes and developing the Programme Management Office function. This is a pivotal role that contributes to the security and economic prosperity of the United Kingdom.

• Plan and coordinate interdependencies between projects, including developing and maintaining project plans.
• Produce and maintain Project and Programme Business Cases.
• Develop and agree on budgets for projects and/or programmes and forecast actual costs against them.
• Establish processes and standards for managing risks and issues.
• Ensure appropriate governance is in place and arrange external reviews.
• Establish and implement protocols to change the scope of projects and/or programmes and update configuration documents as required.
• Identify, develop, and share good practice project management processes, tools, and templates, and benchmark against industry standards.

• Prior experience in Portfolio and Programme Management with Central Government.
• Demonstrable experience of developing and maturing a Programme Management Office function.
• Demonstrable experience of developing project business cases and taking them through approval stages for signoff.
• Experience of developing and managing stakeholder relationships.
• Extensive experience of delivering high-quality project management services.
• Valid SC level Security Clearance.

• Prior experience for a consultancy.
