Cedar are working with a PE backed Technology business based in London. They are looking for a Project manager to join the business to assist them with a system migration from ECC to S4 Hana. This is initially a 6 month contract position outside of IR35.

We're looking for someone who has a wealth of knowledge around SAP, especially S4 HANA, and work closely with the team to ensure everything runs smoothly.

You will be fundamental in the S4 HANA migration and build a successful relationship with key stakeholders and external partners.

They duties/responsibilities of the role are: -

  • Lead and manage the migration & implementation of SAP ECC to SAP S/4 Hana from initial planning and requirements gathering to go-live and post-implementation support.
  • Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, including time lines, milestones, resources, and budgets.
  • Assemble and lead a cross-functional project team, including internal staff, consultants, and external vendors.
  • Assign tasks and responsibilities, monitor progress, and ensure the team stays focused on project objectives.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and support to the project team, fostering a collaborative and results-driven environment.
  • Provide recommendations and solutions to enhance system performance and user experience
  • Understand and address unique business challenges and requirements within the infrastructure of the technology sector.
  • Assist with various projects and ad hoc work requested by senior management
  • Identify potential risks and issues early in the project and develop strategies to mitigate or resolve them.
  • Monitor project risks and implement contingency plans to minimise impact on time lines and deliverables.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and communicate potential impacts to stakeholders.

Experience & Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5 years in SAP S/4 HANA implementation and support
  • Experience working with external implementation partners and managing project life cycles
  • Strong technical knowledge of SAP or other Tier 1 systems
  • Excellent communication skills
  • PE backed company experience would be advantageous
