Day-to-day of the role:
  • Lead and deliver change projects effectively, ensuring all project milestones and objectives are met.
  • Engage with challenging stakeholders, managing relationships and expectations through strong interpersonal skills.
  • Maintain clear and effective communication across a broad audience, ensuring project details and updates are well understood.
  • Demonstrate resilience and drive, maintaining progress and resolving issues as they arise.
  • Utilise good delegation and negotiation skills to manage project resources and timelines efficiently.
  • Remain calm and maintain perspective in challenging situations to ensure steady project progression.
  • Apply commercial acumen and value-driven supplier management to enhance project outcomes.
  • Support the project team technically, aiding in issue resolution and escalation when necessary.
  • Employ innovative and creative thinking to solve problems throughout the project lifecycle.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in successfully delivering change projects.
  • Strong stakeholder and people management skills, with experience handling difficult interactions.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to demonstrate resilience, persistence, and drive.
  • Good technical knowledge with experience in traditional and modern software/IT development lifecycles (Agile, Iterative, Waterfall).
  • Desirable: Experience with Agile/Lean teams using SCRUM, KANBAN, XP; Continuous Improvement knowledge; familiarity with Microsoft Project, Jira, HP Application Lifecycle Management, and MS Office tools; experience managing multiple external suppliers.
