Reed Professional Services is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team, working with the one of our clients International team. This role is crucial for backfilling a retiring Project Manager and involves managing key technology functions within their business.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Oversee project governance to ensure compliance, risk management, and integrity of the project.
  • Lead the delivery of change projects, ensuring they meet all milestones and deliverables.
  • Manage relationships with stakeholders and team members, effectively handling challenging interactions.
  • Maintain clear and effective communication across all levels of the project team and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate resilience and drive to maintain progress and resolve any issues that arise.
  • Delegate tasks and negotiate resources and timelines to ensure project success.
  • Remain calm and maintain perspective in challenging situations to ensure steady project progress.
  • Utilise strong commercial acumen for effective supplier management.
  • Support the project team technically, aiding in issue resolution and escalation when necessary.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in project management, particularly in delivering change projects.
  • Strong skills in governance, stakeholder management, and team leadership.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Experience in both traditional and modern software/IT development lifecycles (Agile, Iterative, Waterfall).
  • Desirable: Experience with Agile/Lean teams, Continuous Improvement, and tools like Microsoft Project, Jira, and HP Application Lifecycle Management.
