Robert Half are assisting a market leading financial services organisation to recruit an Project Manager on an initial 3-6 month contract basis

Role

  • Project Planning and Execution: The Project Manager will develop detailed project plans, define project scope and objectives, and coordinate resources and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Stakeholder Management: Liaise with internal teams, clients, and third-parties to ensure clear communication and alignment of project goals.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
  • Budget Management: Monitor project budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and adherence to financial constraints.
  • Performance Tracking: Establish KPIs and track project performance, providing regular updates and reports to senior management.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure all projects meet high standards of quality and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance project management efficiency.

Profile

  • The Project Manager will have 5+ years of project management experience, preferably in the SaaS (FinTech/RegTech) and the Financial Services industries, ideally in the wealth and/or asset management sectors
  • Experience and certifications in recognised methodologies such as PRINCE 2 & Agile
  • Experience with complex platform and data migration projects.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
  • Proficient in project management software (e.g., Jira, Teamwork, MS Project, Airfocus) and collaboration tools (e.g., Slack, Miro, Figma and Teams).
  • Familiarity with financial sector regulatory compliance is a plus.
  • Experience managing regulatory change within a business e.g. implementing SMCR or MiFID.
