Join Reed Professional Services, a leading Management Consultancy and technology services provider, as a Project Manager. This role involves working with one of logistics clients Operations and Delivery team on a key technology project. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to contribute to one of their critical projects.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Lead and manage change projects within the technology function, focusing on the Universal Service Obligation (USO).
  • Engage with challenging stakeholders, managing relationships effectively to drive project success.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with a broad audience, ensuring all stakeholders are aligned.
  • Demonstrate resilience and drive to maintain progress and resolve issues, keeping projects on track.
  • Delegate tasks and negotiate effectively to manage project resources and timelines.
  • Maintain commercial acumen in managing supplier relationships, ensuring value-driven outcomes.
  • Support the project team technically, assisting in issue resolution and escalation when necessary.
  • Employ innovative and creative thinking to solve problems throughout the project lifecycle.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in successfully delivering change projects.
  • Strong stakeholder and people management skills, with experience working with challenging stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to remain calm and maintain perspective in challenging situations.
  • Good technical knowledge and experience with software/IT development lifecycles including Agile, Iterative, and Waterfall.
  • Desirable: Experience with Agile/Lean teams, Continuous Improvement, and tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira, and HP Application Lifecycle Management.
