Senior IT/Network Manager

Are you passionate about technology and its role in education? We are seeking a skilled and motivated IT Technician to support and enhance the technology infrastructure at our vibrant school.

About the Role:

As an IT Technician, you will be a key player in ensuring the smooth operation of all technology services across the school. From managing network systems and troubleshooting hardware/software issues to supporting staff and students, you'll ensure that our IT systems are running efficiently and effectively. You will have the opportunity to work with a range of technologies and make a real difference in the daily learning experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support to staff and students, resolving IT issues promptly and effectively.

  • Manage and maintain the school's hardware, software, and network systems.

  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot various educational technologies and equipment.

  • Assist in the development and implementation of IT policies and procedures.

  • Ensure the security of IT systems and data through regular updates and backups.

  • Collaborate with the teaching staff to integrate technology into classroom activities.

  • Perform routine maintenance, updates, and system monitoring.

Skills & Experience:
  • Proven experience in IT support or a similar technical role.

  • Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems, along with common software applications.

  • Familiarity with network infrastructure, firewalls, and wireless networks.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve IT issues quickly.

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, students, and external suppliers.

  • A positive attitude, a proactive approach, and a passion for supporting education through technology.
